Nexus Commerce is a Lagos-based DTC fashion brand selling premium streetwear across Africa and the diaspora. They had the product, the aesthetic, and a loyal early following — but their digital presence wasn't converting. A slow, dated website and a Meta ad account burning through budget with nothing to show for it were leaving serious revenue on the table.
Nexus was spending ₦800,000 per month on Meta ads with a 0.8x ROAS — effectively losing money on every naira spent. Their website loaded in over 6 seconds on mobile (where 90% of their traffic came from), had no product storytelling, and wasn't optimised for conversion. Cart abandonment sat at 76%. They needed a full rebuild — not a patch job.
We rebuilt their storefront from scratch — mobile-first, blazing fast, with full product collection storytelling, social proof sections, and a checkout flow designed to eliminate friction. Every page was optimised for the mobile-heavy audience. On the ads side, we restructured their entire Meta account: rebuilt campaigns across a 3-stage funnel (cold audiences, warm retargeting, cart abandonment sequences), created 14 new ad creatives anchored in lifestyle imagery and social proof, and implemented full pixel tracking with proper conversion event mapping. The result was a unified system where the ad pulls them in and the site closes the sale.
